DIRECT ADHESION DENTISTRY: Anterior & Posterior Composite Restorations
ANTERIOR COMPOSITE RESTORATIONS ("WHITE FILLINGS")
"Tooth-colored filling" placed on the chewing surface of back teeth allows dentists to place "tooth colored" restorative materials in molars and bicuspids with reliable success.
These new adhesive composite restorations are expected to perform favorably when compared to the earlier non-adhesion restorative materials. Because these new materials adhere to the teeth, contain no mercury and essentially wear all the same rate as "silver fillings," they are now considered by many to be "state-of-the-art" and the "new standard of care" for dentistry.
