The implants have been placed and are "sleeping" during the healing phase of treatment.

Implants are uncovered from their "sleeping" condition. Healing phase of treatment is complete and the dentist can now attach the appropriate retentive fixtures to the implants.

A pre-fabricated "retentive bar" is now secured (threaded) into the implants.

The "mating" retentive feature is processed into the removable partial denture. The Implant-Supported Removable Partial Denture will then "snap" on and off the "retentive bar" much like the snaps on the jacket. Special care and attention to dental hygiene is essential to insure long-term treatment success!
