Replacement with Full-Coverage Porcelain Crowns

Replacement of the large failing amalgam restorations with coverage porcelain and porcelain fused-to-metal crowns.

When tooth display a combination of cracks, fractures, failing restorations, and large filling materials placed "beyond the limits of the material," the most reliable restorative and cosmetic alternative is a full coverage porcelain crown. These crowns may be full porcelain or porcelain fused to metal. The advantages are: function, durability and cosmetics, while the disadvantages are: tooth reduction and cost.
